SRI: v12 and its hashes. I computed them from the deployed sri/v12.js; the same method reproduces the current v11 hash.
Time on page: only visible time counts, the time is sent whenever the page gets hidden, and it's rounded down to whole seconds.
Pings: new page for data-pings and sa_settings.pings.
Ignore metrics: new querykeys slug for query parameter names (names only, never values).
Unique visits: Cloudflare challenge arrivals count as unique and are sent without a referrer.
Automated events: phone clicks are collected by default, clicks are never delayed, and data-simple-event links are skipped.
Inline events: rewritten for the main script, with a note to remove the beta inline-events.js, plus opt-in data-detect-404. The page is no longer hidden or marked beta.
Settings via JavaScript: added pings and detect404.
Proxy: the nginx example caches /proxy.js and /auto-events.js for 1 hour instead of 7 days (see simpleanalytics/infrastructure#294).
GPT-6 Astra reviewed this PR. Its three findings are fixed:
Query parameter names are sent on every full page load, not only the first.
Pings still send the scroll depth when time on page is ignored.
A phone link with a title uses the title as the event name.

Summary by CodeRabbit
Documentation
Updated script version 12 setup and settings guidance, including visible-time pings, optional 404 detection, referrer overrides, and controls for collecting URL parameter names and values.
Expanded event-tracking guidance with phone-link clicks, inline events, and form metadata. Clarified that clicks remain uninterrupted and visitor-entered form text is not collected.
Clarified visible-time measurement, pageview behavior after Cloudflare challenges, custom pageviews, and query-string handling.
Updated script integrity, proxy cache, content security policy, and metadata guidance. Removed the manual sa_event tracking section.
Update the SRI version and hashes, time on page, ignore metrics, unique
visits and automated events for v12, rewrite the inline events page for
the main script, and add a pings page.

Correct the reload behavior description.
The PR objective states that v12 sends query parameter names on every full page load. This sentence says that v12 skips them on reloads. A reload is a full page load.
Remove reloads from the skip list, or clarify the exact lifecycle if reloads are intentionally excluded.
