docs(self-host): chart library setup and private mirrors - #1535
Merged
Merged
Conversation
Add a self-host page for the chart library: enabling the chart-type-registry flag, the registry environment variables, and reading the library from a private mirror on a restricted network (private hosts, authorization header, internal CA, content-type rewriting). Share the variable table with the environment variables reference through a snippet, list the page in the enterprise features index and navigation, and link to it from the user-facing chart library page. Summary
Self-hosted instances had no documentation for the chart library's environment variables, and none for reading the library from a private mirror. This adds:
self-host/enterprise-features/chart-library: prerequisites (license,chart-type-registryflag), enabling the library, the variable reference, a "Using a private mirror" section (mirror the published tree,LIGHTDASH_CHART_REGISTRY_URL,LIGHTDASH_CHART_REGISTRY_ALLOW_PRIVATE_HOSTS,LIGHTDASH_CHART_REGISTRY_AUTHORIZATION_HEADER, internal CA viaNODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS, content-type rewriting by proxies), turning the library off, troubleshooting.snippets/self-host/chart-library-env.mdxwith the fiveLIGHTDASH_CHART_REGISTRY_*variables, included on the new page and in a new "Chart library" section of the environment variables reference (after "Data apps runtime").docs.jsonlists the page after data apps; the user-facing chart library page's self-hosted note links to it.Depends on
