Adds ui-less <SignInButton />, <SignUpButton />, <SignOutButton />, and <SignInWithMetamaskButton /> components, following <InviteMembersButton />
Description for robots
Adds four headless buttons to Mosaic, each split into a model, controller, and view under src/features/<name>/. Each renders a plain <button> with a localized default label. children replaces the label, render swaps the element, the consumer's onClick runs alongside the action, and fallback renders while Clerk loads. The controllers run the action through usePendingAction, so the button is disabled while the action is in flight and a second click does nothing.
SignInButton / SignUpButton redirect by default and open the Clerk sign-in / sign-up modal with mode='modal'. They take the same redirect URL, initialValues, withSignUp / unsafeMetadata and oauthFlow props as the @clerk/react buttons. Modals open in the Mosaic portal container.
SignOutButton takes redirectUrl (defaults to the application's after-sign-out URL) and sessionId, and renders nothing when nobody is signed in.
SignInWithMetamaskButton takes redirectUrl, and renders nothing when MetaMask isn't enabled as a first-factor strategy.
These differ from the @clerk/react buttons in two ways. They render fallback instead of the button while Clerk loads. Sign-out and MetaMask also hide when they can't do anything, the same way InviteMembersButton hides without the permission. The pending state uses the native disabled attribute rather than focusableWhenDisabled. That way a styled Button passed through render dims, since it only reads its own disabled prop.
Adds feature tests, Swingset stories and docs under Misc, and live pages at /live/misc/sign-in-button, /sign-up-button, /sign-out-button, and /sign-in-with-metamask-button.

Adds sign-in, MetaMask sign-in, sign-up, and sign-out buttons to Mosaic. The components call the corresponding Clerk actions and render loading, hidden, and pending states. The changes also add feature tests, localization entries, live examples, Storybook stories, and documentation.
Consumers copying the new documentation examples cannot resolve the imports; remove or update those examples before publishing the documentation.

Explanation
The title names the four headless buttons added in this PR (sign-in, sign-up, sign-out, and MetaMask sign-in) under the mosaic package, which matches the main change in the changeset. Its wording is specific enough for a teammate scanning history to identify the primary change.
Full details: Description check
Explanation
The description states that the PR adds four UI-less Clerk-backed buttons (SignIn, SignUp, SignOut, SignInWithMetamask) in Mosaic. It describes the model/controller/view split, redirect and modal behavior, fallback rendering, pending-state handling, tests, Swingset stories, and live pages. This directly describes the changeset.

Show public component code in the story footer.
The code footer extracts this story’s JSX, so it shows SignInButtonView with an undefined noop instead of usable SignInButton code. The other three button stories have the same problem. Supply public usage snippets or hide these footers. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Errors get lost (same in the other three controllers)
When the action fails, nobody finds out. usePendingAction saves the error, but the controller only passes on isPending. I tested it in Swingset: signed in, a click got a 400 from FAPI, the button turned back on, and nothing showed on screen or in the console. The old @clerk/react button makes the same call without catching it, so the error shows up as an uncaught error in the console. Wallet errors, such as pressing Cancel, are still logged.
Could we hand the error to the app, for example with an onError(error) prop?
The reason will be displayed to describe this comment to others. Learn more.
No MetaMask installed: nothing happens
In Chrome without the extension, the click sends an empty wallet address. FAPI rejects it with form_param_nil on identifier, and the button just turns back on. The old button behaves the same, so this would be an improvement.
Mosaic already has the copy (web3_missing_identifier in localization/errors.messages.ts), and web3CallbackErrorHandler in packages/ui already does this mapping. Could the model do the same? Once errors reach the app (see the controller comment), the app gets a useful message.

Sign-up gets stuck when the app needs more info
With a wallet that has no user, Clerk starts a sign-up. If the app also requires an email, the sign-up stops halfway (missing_requirements) and the user stays where they are, with no message. I reproduced this in Swingset. Clerk only moves the user on if signUpContinueUrl is passed in. The old button had the same gap.
Could we add it, maybe defaulting to the sign-up URL plus #/continue?
The reason will be displayed to describe this comment to others. Learn more.
Show that the button is waiting (nit, same in the other three views)
If the user collapses MetaMask's panel instead of pressing Cancel, the request stays open. The button stays disabled until they reopen MetaMask and cancel, and it looks broken in the meantime.
Could the pending state work like SubmitButton: stay focusable, and set aria-busy and data-pending? Then an app can show "waiting for your wallet" instead of a dead button.
The reason will be displayed to describe this comment to others. Learn more.
An async onClick isn't awaited (description only)
The old buttons waited for your onClick to finish before running the action. Here both start together, so something like onClick={async () => { await analytics.flush() }} may not finish before the redirect. This follows mergeProps(internal, consumer) in docs/headless.md, so no code change is needed. Could you add it to the list of differences in the description?
The reason will be displayed to describe this comment to others. Learn more.
Could these four share one button?
The controller, view and wrapper are the same code in all four, just with names swapped. Only the models and labels really differ. One shared button, maybe in src/blocks/, would leave each feature as its model, its label, and a short wrapper. Then the error handling and the pending state get fixed once, and the shared behavior gets tested once.
The reason will be displayed to describe this comment to others. Learn more.
The option list is written out three times
Sign-in and sign-up list their seven options in three places. If someone adds an option and misses one spot, it ends up as an attribute on the real <button>. TypeScript won't catch it; you'd only see a React warning in dev. Could we list them once?
The reason will be displayed to describe this comment to others. Learn more.
unsafeMetadata is accepted where it does nothing
<SignUpButton unsafeMetadata={...} /> without mode='modal' type-checks, but redirect mode drops the value without any warning. The shared SignUpButtonProps type only allows it in modal mode. Could we build our options from the shared types instead of copying the field lists?
The reason will be displayed to describe this comment to others. Learn more.
Renders nothing until Clerk loads (description only)
The old buttons render right away. These render nothing (or fallback) until Clerk loads, so the page can shift. Could you add this to the list of differences?
The old SignOutButton always sent users to '/', even when afterSignOutUrl was set on ClerkProvider. This one respects afterSignOutUrl. That's probably better, but it's a change worth listing in the description.
Approved since these buttons aren't exported. These are findings from testing manually in the browser and testing with Claude. Some are bugs and some are improvements I think would be nice to include in the rewrites.
I'm going to add these tickets to Linear and start chipping away.
Default button redirected to /sign-in carrying the force redirect URLs and initial email; mode='modal' opened Clerk's real sign-in modal, mounted inside the PortalProvider container.
SignUpButton redirects or opens modal SignOutButton signs out, hides when signed out MetaMask button gated on strategy Pending disables and dims styled Button Fallback while Clerk loads

Remove the unsupported package imports from all four examples.
@clerk/mosaic does not export these feature subpaths, and its root entrypoint does not export these four components. A consumer who copies any example therefore gets an unresolved package import. Keep the remaining JSX examples as usage fragments, or provide a supported import only when these components become part of the package API.
Apply the same removal to the corresponding first example in sign-up-button.tsx, sign-out-button.tsx, and sign-in-with-metamask-button.tsx.
