Installing Music Craft

Music Craft requires the server plugin on the server and the Fabric client mod on players' game clients.

Step 1: Server Setup (Paper / Spigot / Bukkit)

  1. Run Paper, Purpur, Spigot, or CraftBukkit on Minecraft 26.3 with Java 25.
  2. Download MusicCraft-Paper-1.0.0.jar from Modrinth or CurseForge.
  3. Place the jar in the server plugins/ directory.
  4. Start the server once to generate plugins/MusicCraft/config.yml.
  5. Open config.yml and configure server-id:
    config-version: 1
    server-id: smp-main
    api-url: https://sonoxel-edge.sonoxel-edge.workers.dev
  6. Apply changes with /musiccraft admin reload or restart the server.

Step 2: Fabric Client Setup

  1. Install Minecraft 26.3, Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer, and Java 25.
  2. Download MusicCraft-Fabric-1.0.0.jar from Modrinth or CurseForge.
  3. Place the jar into your .minecraft/mods/ directory along with Fabric API for 26.3.
  4. Launch Minecraft and join the server.

Usage

  • Open Menu: Walk up to any jukebox and right-click it with an empty hand.
  • Select Audio: Search the catalog, select server MP3s, or tune into live radio streams.
  • Playback & Queue: Control volume, queue upcoming songs, and toggle loop or shuffle modes.
  • Target Command: You can also look at a jukebox and run /musiccraft jukebox.

Vanilla Clients

Players without the Fabric mod can connect and play normally. They will not hear custom audio or see the jukebox menu. If you wish to enforce mod installation for all players, set require-client-mod: true in config.yml.
