Changes

  • README: add images of the two output modes, a table of contents, and the
sections "Tested with", "Known limitations", "How it works", "Reporting
issues" and "How this was made".
  • CI: add a GitHub Actions workflow with two jobs. lint runs all pre-commit
hooks. test installs Inkscape 1.4.4 from the Inkscape PPA and runs all
    tests with coverage.
  • Coverage: py-cov-action/python-coverage-comment-action writes the badge
and the report to the python-coverage-comment-action-data branch. It needs
no external account. All actions use a pinned commit SHA.
  • README: add the CI badge and the coverage badge.

Checks

  • Local test run with coverage: 333 passed, 20 expected failures, 97 % coverage.
  • All pre-commit hooks pass on all files.
  • The coverage badge shows an image only after the first CI run on main.
