Description
Linux 7.2 added the yogafan hwmon driver for fan speed monitoring on modern Lenovo consumer laptops, including IdeaPad and Slim models.
The current Void linux7.2 kernel is built with:
CONFIG_SENSORS_YOGAFAN is not set
As a result, the yogafan module is not available:
$ modprobe yogafan
modprobe: FATAL: Module yogafan not found in directory /lib/modules/7.2.6_1
I am using a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 16IAH8 (DMI product name 83ES).
The upstream 7.2 kernel documentation lists support for Lenovo IdeaPad/Slim Embedded Controllers and the driver exposes fan RPM through standard hwmon fanX_input attributes.
