Audacity crash. lib-wx-wrappers.so: undefined symbol #62595

Description

@kasseta-ux

Is this a new report?

Yes

System Info

Void 6.1.186_1 x86_64 GenuineIntel uptodate rrrrmmnF

Package(s) Affected

nothing (the command line returned an empty response)

Does a report exist for this bug with the project's home (upstream) and/or another distro?

There is a similar error in the search results, but not the exact same one:
https://forum.audacityteam.org/t/completely-stuck-and-confused-solved/60882/2

Expected behaviour

[void@localhost ~]$ audacity
program starts

Actual behaviour

[void@localhost ~]$ audacity
audacity: symbol lookup error: /usr/bin/../lib64/audacity/lib-wx-wrappers.so: undefined symbol: _ZN12wxWindowBase14RegisterHotKeyEiii
[void@localhost ~]$

Steps to reproduce

  1. sudo xbps-install -S audacity
  2. use this program any time and do sudo xbps-install -Syu
  3. audacity
  4. audacity: symbol lookup error: /usr/bin/../lib64/audacity/lib-wx-wrappers.so: undefined symbol: _ZN12wxWindowBase14RegisterHotKeyEiii

I can't say for sure what caused this. I sometimes shut down the computer abruptly without closing the program first... I hadn't installed any plugins. It's possible this happened after a system package update (sudo xbps-install -Syu).

Uninstalling and reinstalling the program doesn't help (I install it natively using the command sudo xbps-install -S audacity).

I apologize if this bug report isn't as thorough as it should be. I’m a beginner, and this is my first report.
