Changes

Run mvn -B test for pull requests targeting v2-ng-master.
Run the same verification after changes are merged into v2-ng-master.
Publish JUnit test results in the workflow summary.
Add a Maven Verification badge to the README.

Verification

Ran mvn -B test locally.
