After the first repo connects, the pair child sends Trail the names of the
other repos Claude Code ran in here (from each ~/.claude/projects folder's
first transcript, plus repos Trail knows), deduped by remote, newest first,
at most 15, never their paths. When the person picks some on the onboarding
page, each is set up in turn: trail init --yes with no look-back, added to
the workspace, its learnings synced, and its status reported to the page.
The wait for a pick ends 10 minutes after the review.

Companion to https://github.com/trailhq/trail-cloud/pull/28.

Tested: new test/trail-other-repos.test.ts (discovery from a fake home, pick then setup, failed setup); npm test 3990/4001, the 3 failures also fail on main on this machine or are flaky under load. End to end against the local trail-cloud preview in a sandbox laptop with 4 repos: web and docs picked, both wired (.claude/, .trail/), added to the workspace and the laptop config; the unpicked repo untouched.

Ownership is git history over each area's own files, weighted towards recent work (120-day half-life). Merge commits and bots are dropped, and you are dropped from your own PR. A name with no @ has no GitHub handle in its commit email — tag them by hand, or add a .mailmap entry. A suggestion from history, not a CODEOWNERS rule.

Reached = a node under a test path has a resolved edge into the changed symbol. It undercounts anything called indirectly — through a CLI, a spawned process or a dynamic import — so read a low ratio as “look here”, never as a coverage gate.
