zxc is a high-performance asymmetric lossless compression tool and library, designed for extreme decompression speeds. Maturity and Community Integration: - Debian Official Package: zxc is an official Debian package (currently version 0.8.3-1 in unstable/sid). https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/zxc - Lzbench Integration: The algorithm is integrated into lzbench, the standard open-source benchmark for lossless compressors. - Local Fuzzing Validation: Before this submission, the project has been locally fuzzed using ClusterFuzzLite for 300,000,000+ iterations with MSan, ASan, and UBSan with zero crashes and zero uninitialized memory reads. As a compression library handling untrusted input at very high speeds, security and memory safety are critical. Continuous fuzzing by Google's infrastructure will ensure the long-term reliability of the library for the Debian community and other downstream users.
