… job since yesterday bin/brakeman prepends --ensure-latest, which makes brakeman exit 5 whenever a newer release exists, regardless of what it found. 8.1.0 was published on 2026-10-01; the lock held 8.0.6. Since then every branch's brakeman job has failed with no warnings and no scan errors — the only output being "Brakeman 8.0.6 is not the latest version 8.1.0". Reproduced locally with CI's invocation (exit 5, zero warnings, zero errors) on develop and on an unrelated feature branch; the same invocation exits 0 after the bump. Zero warnings on 8.1.0 as well. --ensure-latest is kept: it exists precisely so this bump is forced rather than forgotten.
