Kubernetes

Manifests live in k8s/ and target the upskilling-dev namespace on GKE Autopilot.

kubectl apply -k k8s/

Container image

docker build -t us-central1-docker.pkg.dev/upskilling-platform-dev/apps/hello-api-v1:latest .
docker push us-central1-docker.pkg.dev/upskilling-platform-dev/apps/hello-api-v1:latest

Create the Artifact Registry repo first if it does not exist:

gcloud artifacts repositories create apps \
  --repository-format=docker \
  --location=us-central1 \
  --project=upskilling-platform-dev

ArgoCD

Add an Application in devops-upskilling-gitops pointing at this repo's k8s/ path with destination.namespace: upskilling-dev.
