+When the Media Library or a folder contains no assets and no subfolders, an empty state screen replaces the normal asset list. The empty state includes:
+
+- an illustration,
+- a "No assets yet" title,
+- a "Get started by uploading items or creating the folder." description,
+- an **Add assets** button.

+Clicking **Add assets** opens the file picker. Drag-and-drop upload also works directly onto the empty state screen. Once assets are uploaded, the normal asset list replaces the empty state.
