I shape backend architecture and technical direction across the engineering organization at Evolution, connecting business priorities with platform decisions and engineering standards. My work spans scalability, reliability, security, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on building systems that support the business as it grows.
I work closely with engineering leadership and teams to balance immediate delivery needs with the longer view: where to invest, what to simplify, and how to make sound technical decisions across teams.
Alongside this, I lead our Amsterdam site, with responsibility for people management and daily operations, keeping team development and delivery connected to the broader engineering strategy.
I stay close to system design and code, particularly in Scala and distributed systems. I value clear abstractions and practical engineering that make complex platforms easier to understand, operate, and evolve.
