Summary
Allow subagent directory initialization to recover from transient filesystem errors without restarting Kit. Keep the selected directory path stable and cache only successful initialization.
Motivation
A first subagent request made while the disk is full currently caches the directory-creation error permanently. Later requests replay that error even after disk space is available.
Technical details
Separate immutable path selection from successful filesystem initialization. Failed creation attempts remain retryable; after success, callers reuse the path without introducing new filesystem failures after reserving a subagent slot.
