actions/checkout v4 -> v7, actions/setup-node v4 -> v7, actions/github-script v7 -> v9, pnpm/action-setup v4 -> v6. The v4 actions still target Node 20, which the runners deprecate with a warning on every job. Node.js 20 is deprecated. The following actions target Node.js 20 but are being forced to run on Node.js 24: actions/checkout@v4. This moves every action to its latest major.actions/checkoutincludeIfsupport for the worktree thatcheck-links,check-redirects, andcheck-duplicateseach create);spellcheck-allow.yml'sgit pushstill uses them. v7: refuses to check out a fork head onpull_request_targetandworkflow_run; no workflow here uses either eventactions/setup-nodepackage.jsonhaspackageManager; v6: automatic cache limited to npm.algolia-index.ymlsetscache: pnpmexplicitly, the spelling workflows do not install anything. v7: ESM, new outputsactions/github-scriptrequire('@actions/github')no longer works andgetOctokitis injected;preview-links.ymluses neitherpnpm/action-setupsourcegraph/actions/diff-tour@mainalready tracks main.actionlintpasses. npx knip --dependenciesfound one dead dependency:sharp.nextlistssharp ^0.35.4in its ownoptionalDependencies, so the devDependency only duplicated it; the lockfile still resolvessharp@0.35.5, now as an optional dependency ofnext.shikistays: knip flags it, but it is a required peer ofrehype-pretty-code. Its other flags (rehype-*,remark-gfm,unist-util-visit,glob) are knip not readingcontentlayer.config.tsanddev/*.mjs.@types/node,@types/react,@types/react-dom, andtypescriptmove fromdependenciestodevDependencies. Vercel installs both, so what gets installed does not change.Verified locally:
