Hi, I'm Simone

I design products and build them. Chief product officer at Forte AI. The company started with fMusic and fPost, AI tools for audio professionals working in Pro Tools, and has pivoted to mecum: AI agents that work in the desktop apps on your Mac, including apps with no API. I lead product and design, and I prototype in code, with AI, so the team builds from something real. Most of that code lives in private repositories, which is where the green squares come from.

Some projects I build in my free time because I need them, like better-prompter, which I made to record my videos. Others I build at work: mecum's open source app, which I co-own with the Forte team, postecho, and talkback, the product rules our developers' coding agents read before a task.

Lets AI agents work in the desktop apps on your Mac while you keep using it, including apps with no API. Finds topics for X and LinkedIn posts and drafts them from your own writing examples. Eight product rules, with their reasons, that a coding agent checks a feature against and comes back with one recommendation. A free macOS teleprompter that sits under the camera and stays out of screen recordings.

How I work: take away before adding, say each thing once, show the work while it happens, and let the person decide. The rules are written down in talkback, and the postecho case study shows them in practice.

Off the clock I plan long cycling trips and build a website for each one: cycling-routes.
