Updated OpenShift end-to-end checks for Redis high-availability transitions, ApplicationSet namespace and token settings, and Argo CD agent configuration and reconciliation. Added coverage for restoring Redis authentication mounts and verifying HAProxy rollout settings.
Removed sequential operator end-to-end test suites covering cluster configuration, Redis high availability, ApplicationSet behavior, and Argo CD agent resources.
Five operator sequential test files were removed. Four OpenShift sequential E2E tests were updated with changes to Redis HA checks, ApplicationSet namespace coverage, and agent configuration assertions.
These five test files were removed. They covered cluster configuration, Redis HA, ApplicationSet namespaces, and Argo CD agent behavior.
Redis HA lifecycle test test/openshift/e2e/ginkgo/sequential/1-020_validate_redis_ha_nonha_test.go
The test creates and cleans up a namespaced Argo CD instance and derives resource names from it. It checks HAProxy MaxSurge and allows more time for HA StatefulSet readiness.
ApplicationSet namespace and tokenRef tests test/openshift/e2e/ginkgo/sequential/1-037_validate_applicationset_in_any_namespace_test.go
The test uses generated names for controller RBAC resources. It adds tokenRef strict-mode checks for namespace removal and invalid values, and extends cmdParams override coverage.
Principal configuration and reconciliation checks test/openshift/e2e/ginkgo/sequential/1-051_validate_argocd_agent_principal_test.go
The test checks label selectors and exact default-image values. It adds Redis Auth volume and mount restoration coverage and polls for the expected service type.
The E2E test can fail intermittently before the Service reaches its expected type; fetch the current object inside the poll.

- Around line 768-769: Update the service-fetch callback so that when fetching
the service fails, it returns the fetch error instead of a nil map; this lets
Gomega retry rather than treating the missing annotation as verified. Preserve
the existing successful-fetch behavior.
- Line 487: Update the deployment poll in this test to wait for a changed
configuration value, such as the container environment value being staging,
instead of matching the unchanged Argo CD agent principal image. Use the
container fetched by the successful poll for the subsequent environment
assertions.

Follow-up Comments
Poll the service type inside the Eventually callback.
712-712: Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win
Poll the service type inside the Eventually callback.
Eventually(principalService.Spec.Type) evaluates Spec.Type before polling starts. It does not re-fetch the Service. If reconciliation updates the type after creation, this assertion fails before waiting. Use a callback that calls k8sClient.Get and returns the current Spec.Type.

Update the Service type assertion to poll a callback that uses k8sClient.Get to
fetch the current Service and returns its Spec.Type. Keep the assertion
targeting corev1.ServiceTypeLoadBalancer so it waits for reconciliation to set
the expected type.
