The last pre-merge mirror sync clobbered the GitHub-adapted README with the local-repo version: ASCII diagram instead of mermaid, submodule layout references that are wrong for this tree, and a paragraph spliced into the repo-layout table. Restored from the pre-clobber version and merged with the newer content so nothing is lost: - mermaid architecture diagram back - repo-layout table fixed and monorepo-correct (pstop_c/ at root) - kept the fleet-integration status, open items, and the direct-OTA recovery path from the newer local README - status-ring colors corrected to match dcs_pstop_ring.c (white idle, pulsing red unreachable) and the new rotation-offset/locate API noted - prose pass for tone and readability throughout Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01JRZvaANcTGNuMjJN2gVf8b

PR #53 merged with the README from the last local-mirror sync, which had clobbered the GitHub-adapted version: the mermaid architecture diagram was replaced by the old ASCII one, the repo-layout table described the local submodule layout (wrong for this tree) and had a stray paragraph spliced into it.
This restores the mermaid README and merges in everything newer so nothing is lost:
pstop_c/at root)dcs_pstop_ring.c(white idle, pulsing red unreachable) plus the new per-device ring rotation offset and locate APIREADME-only change; pre-commit markdown hook passes locally.
