Integrated In-Browser Code Sandbox #14

Description

@polichdev

Implementing a native development environment allows students to write, compile, and execute code directly within the lesson interface. This removes the barrier of local environment setup and provides immediate practical application of the concepts learned in the courses.

Key Topics and Tasks

  • Real-Time Execution Engine

    • Integration of a secure, containerized backend for executing Java, Python, and JavaScript code.
    • Development of an embedded console output window within the course.html layout for real-time feedback.
  • Interactive Code Challenges

    • Implementation of fill-in-the-code exercises with instant syntax and logic validation.
    • Integration of automated unit tests to validate student solutions against expected outputs and edge cases.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Code execution must be isolated and sandboxed to prevent unauthorized system access.
  • Execution results and console output must be displayed within 3 seconds for standard tasks.
  • Validation feedback must clearly distinguish between syntax errors, logical errors, and successful execution.
  • All interactive components must be fully responsive and compliant with the Glassmorphism design system.
