fix for #286

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Improvements
    • Accelerometer calibration is saved separately for each Wii Remote, so connecting another remote won’t apply the first remote’s calibration.
    • Calibration status and controls reflect the remote connected to the selected port. Clearing calibration affects only that remote.
    • Older shared calibration settings are no longer applied; you may need to calibrate your remotes again.

📝 Walkthrough

Wii Remote accelerometer offsets are stored per remote. Input handling resolves and applies the selected remote’s offset. Calibration and clearing target a specific port, and the settings overlay displays that port’s calibration state.

Changes: Per-remote Wii Remote calibration

Layer / File(s) Summary
Per-remote offset configuration
runtime/include/runtime_config.h
Configuration parsing accepts valid three-value offset arrays per remote key. Legacy shared values are no longer loaded as active calibration. Per-remote lookup and persistence use the remote key.
Resolve and apply remote calibration
runtime/src/wii_remote_input.cpp
Input handling resolves a key from remote identity or port, loads the matching offset, and applies it to remote accelerometer readings.
Port-bound calibration and settings
runtime/include/wii_remote_input.h, runtime/src/wii_remote_input.cpp, runtime/src/settings_overlay.cpp
Calibration runs and messages are associated with a port and gamepad instance. The input API and settings overlay start, query, clear, and display calibration for the selected port.

Clearing one remote can interrupt calibration of another, and replacing a remote can leave an outdated result on screen. These bounded issues should be fixed or explicitly accepted before merging.

Review comments at @runtime/src/settings_overlay.cpp:
- Line 335: Track the port associated with calibration messages and active runs
in the Wii Remote input code, exposing it through a channel accessor. In the
settings overlay, show AccelCalibrationMessage() and the calibration progress
bar only when the selected port matches that channel; otherwise preserve the
per-port Stored offset and Not calibrated display.

Review comments at @runtime/src/wii_remote_input.cpp:
- Around line 202-211: Update the USB key formatting in the key-generation
function so serial-less devices include port + 1 alongside vendor, product, and
interfaceNumber. Keep the port-based fallback unchanged; use the port only as a
discriminator for simultaneous devices, not as durable physical identity.

- Line 849: In the port-clearing path, update the g_calibration.active
assignment so clearing a remote cancels calibration only when g_calibration.chan
matches chan. Preserve an active calibration run when a different port is

port has changed, while preserving the existing message and channel checks.
