- SCP-1587 is a seemingly ordinary steel bed frame with a mysterious metal box welded to its underside, filled with various random objects like circuit boards and doll parts. When someone falls into REM sleep on a mattress placed on this bed, the bed and the person are transported to an alternate dimension that looks exactly like the person's dream. After a loud tone wakes them up, the person can explore this dream world for up to six hours, fully aware and able to interact with their surroundings. If they are severely injured or the time runs out, they are instantly returned to their normal room, with any fatal injuries healed, and can even bring objects back from the dream world.
