About me

I'm a backend engineer at Alibaba (Qwen) in Guangzhou, working on web data infrastructure — large-scale page rendering and content acquisition services that sit between the open web and LLM applications.

Day to day I write Go, Node.js/TypeScript and shell, and I care about reliability, observability, and keeping systems boring.

Currently

Trying to find my footing in open source. Lately I've been spending spare time in the Kubernetes community — reading code, following reviews, and sending small patches around kubelet node lifecycle and pod eviction, contextual logging, and validation/codegen internals.

I'm also poking around Nacos, mostly trying to keep the Node.js and Go SDKs consistent with the Java one on local caching, subscription and publish semantics. Everything is still in review — but community participation has been rewarding, and I'm interested in contributing more wherever I can be useful.

Interests

Distributed systems, Kubernetes internals, distributed configuration and service discovery, web infrastructure, developer tooling, and open-source communities.
