The runner on macOS is built over openkal-macos 0.17.1, whose
kal_task_currentreads the thread's identifier from libSystem's record instead of a system call per answer. An image's C library (openkal-musl) findserrno, its thread pointer and every emulated thread-local variable through that call: 1.58 million times in oneclangd --check. On the macOS arm64 runners clangd.okb parsed 1.25–1.96 times slower than the native clangd while the same image parses as fast on Linux arm64, which answers from a per-thread cache.
