Malin Fossum — From social work to software

Hi, I'm Malin.

Developer in Norway, building clean, accessible apps for web and desktop with a focus on structure, clarity, and strong fundamentals.

Came to code from social work. The instinct, listening and meeting people where they are, now lives in how I build.

How I build

  • Start simple and build on solid fundamentals
  • Accessible by default: keyboard paths, screen reader support, dark mode from the first commit
  • Clear structure: state, rendering, and behavior each in their place
  • Open source by default: versioned releases, improved in the open
