Companion to lpm-dev/rust-client#951, which labels LPM CLI's byte sizes in binary units (KiB, MiB, GiB), as they're counted in 1024s.

What changes

  • infra/store.mdx: the lpm store clean --json example says "removed": "1 MiB", as LPM CLI prints an exact size as a whole number.
  • reference/exit-codes.mdx and reference/terminal-output.mdx: failed tool output is truncated at 10 MiB a stream.
  • infra/login.mdx: what lpm whoami says of storage past its limit, as the Registry reports it (billed, paused or blocked), that a Registry that doesn't report it gets no claim either way, and the storage_overage JSON field.
  • packages/publish.mdx: a publish that includes LPM.dev Registry refuses a compressed tarball past its 100 MiB limit before any target is published.

The plan sizes (100 MiB, 5 GiB, 25 GiB) are relabelled in #389, which edits those lines, matching tolgaergin/a-package-manager#235.

Each content commit is followed by one that refreshes the content dates.

Testing

npm run check passes on 43e4cde: content dates, SEO audit and lint, types, 91 unit and 22 component tests, and the build at 405 pages.
