The Agent context page described where
lightdash.project_context.ymllives but not when Lightdash actually reads it and when agents actually use it — both are gated and easy to assume work by default.Adds a "When agents load it" section stating that:
lightdash deploy).lightdash preview, lightdash start-preview, or a repo-lesslightdash deploy), never ingests or loads the file. Also tightens the intro to note the file lives in the connection's configured Project directory path, which isn't always the repository root.
Cloudy found this docs gap while working a support thread. Written by Cloudy's docs writer; a teammate reviews it before merge, and edits are welcome.
