Handoff is a self-initiated concept: a calm client portal for freelancers. It is a real, working app, not a mockup, and it runs entirely in your browser (no accounts, no network calls, fictional data).
- Two sides of one project: flip between Freelancer and Client view and see only the actions that belong to each.
- Change requests that do the maths: ask, counter, accept or decline, and watch the fee, delivery date and final invoice recalculate live. Every action has an undo.
- Invoices that follow the scope: send, simulate payment, and print a PDF-style invoice.
- Files that unlock on payment: the delivery pack stays locked until the final invoice is paid, then opens and generates a downloadable
handoff-summary.md. - Built to ship: keyboard accessible, screen-reader announcements, reduced-motion support, contrast checked at 4.5:1 or better, responsive from 390 px phone to 1440 px desktop.
Concept project: all names, clients and figures are fictional. State is saved in your browser's localStorage; "Reset demo" restores the original project.
