Getting Started

Follow these steps to run the project locally.

Prerequisites

• Node.js
• npm

Installation

git clone https://github.com/launchwithvm/launchwithvm_portfolio.git
cd launchwithvm_portfolio
npm install
npm run dev

Production Build

Build the project for production:

npm run build

The production-ready files will be generated in the dist/ directory. You can deploy the project using Vercel or Netlify.

To preview the production build locally:

npm run preview

Where to Edit

src/data.ts

Update the portfolio content, including:

• Social media links
• Services
• Pinterest pin IDs
• Projects
• Process steps

Add your LinkedIn profile URL in LINKS.linkedin.

Project Preview Videos

Place project preview videos in:

public/media/projects/

Set the corresponding project video path in src/data.ts:

video: "/media/projects/your-video.mp4"

Background Video

The background video assets are located at:

public/media/glass-ribbon.mp4
public/media/glass-ribbon.webm

Service Videos

Service video assets are located in:

src/assets/services/

Replace an existing video file to update its corresponding service visual.

Recommended export specifications:

• Resolution: 1400 × 704 pixels
• Format: MP4 (H.264)
• Duration: 5–10 seconds
• Muted, looping playback
• File size: under 4 MB
• Keep the main subject within the central 55% of the frame

Project Screenshots

Project screenshots are stored in:

src/assets/projects/

Replace the relevant image assets to update project visuals.

Pinterest Embeds

Pinterest embeds are handled in:

src/components/Services.tsx

If Pinterest frames or branding do not fit the design, replace the PinEmbed component with locally hosted video content where appropriate.
