Strategic Operator · Social Worker to AI Engineer · Cape Town
10+ years designing systems, leading teams, and helping early-stage orgs scale ✦ first as a social worker, then in tech ops. Most recently as Head of Operations at CodeSpace.
I help companies build smarter products and operations with AI tooling and sharpen their strategic edge through competitive intelligence, organizational design, and good product strategy. I bring software dev skills, mixed-methods research, systems thinking, and an unexpectedly useful social work background ✦ solving complex business problems with empathy, and analytical rigor.
Working on 'Get a Job in Tech' and finding my next best fit in tech. Reach out, and let's do some good work.

A Framework for Running Product Work with AI Tooling A system for running product management so AI does the heavy lifting and a person still owns every decision. Two loops — knowledge and decision — share one queryable source of truth, with a human review checkpoint before anything ships. Captures signal from meetings, tickets, and voice notes; drafts decision logs, specs, and team updates; routes everything back through the same hub so nothing drifts out of sync. |

Customer Research & Competitive Intelligence Deep customer research and competitive intelligence for a major SA property brand ✦ what drives customer choice, and who they really compete with. I led it end to end: survey design, national-scale WhatsApp fielding (which beat email 6:1), Python analysis, and AI-assisted thematic synthesis of hundreds of open-ended responses. ~2,100 respondents across two surveys. |
|
SA's friendliest tech job board ✦ clean listings and plain-English summaries. I built the site and the self-healing AI enriched data pipeline that feeds it daily. |

Full Art ✦ Launching in July 2026 Semantic search over Pokémon card art — find a card by what the picture shows ("pokemon sleeping"), not its name. A vision model reads every card; embeddings + pgvector make it searchable. A fun project to help me learn about computer vision and vector databases. |

Hanging out with my senior dog, Forrest · Obsessing over Neapolitan pizza dough 🍕 · TCG Vending and learning competitive Pokemon TCG · Helldivers 2 (for Managed Democracy) · Engine-building board games like Wingspan · and an arguably unreasonable quest to find one specific Pokémon card — Detective Pikachu #098/SV-P. If you have leads, you know what to do.
