Hi, I'm Iris Johnson 👋

Lecturer-Researcher at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, working with the Smart Sustainable Manufacturing research group and the Intelligent Software & Algorithms Lab. I teach across Computer Science and Applied Business Analytics.

What I work on

  • 🎓 Teaching: AI literacy, data science, computational thinking
  • 📐 Standards: Active in ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 42 and CEN/CENELEC JTC 21
  • 🔬 Research: PhD from Utrecht University on music pattern discovery and functional programming. Current interests include applied AI, standards, data science, and complex systems.
