Why

Release 0.5.1. Nothing merged since 0.5.0 breaks the Python or Rust API (no ! commits; optimize_csr() and NodeLookupNode are additions), so RELEASE.md's rule gives a patch bump.

What changed

  • The version moves from 0.5.0 to 0.5.1 in .bumpversion.toml, the four crate manifests and python/pyproject.toml.
  • The three lockfiles that carry the workspace version (root Cargo.lock, the Python crate's Cargo.lock, python/uv.lock) are refreshed for the workspace packages only; no dependency moved.

9 files, 15 lines each way, version lines only. The remaining mentions of 0.5.0 in the docs are history ("removed in 0.5.0"), not pins.

Validation

  • git diff touches only version lines.
  • CI is pending.

A patch release: nothing since 0.5.0 breaks the Python or Rust API, so
RELEASE.md's rule gives a patch bump. It ships the two-hop count rewrite
(#97), `optimize_csr()` (#98), per-chunk in-memory relationship filters
(#100) and the node lookup after grouping by id (#101).

Also refresh the version in the three lockfiles, which bump-my-version
does not update.
