Graphite Trainer

Toy typing trainer for learning the Graphite keyboard layout without changing your real keyboard firmware yet.

What It Does

• Trains Graphite letters from your current physical keys.
• Adds explicit Graphite punctuation drills.
• Includes book passages, coding snippets, and free typing mode.
• Shows your current ZMK thumb/layer practice separately under zmk.
• Runs locally in the browser with no build step.

Run It

npm start

Then open:

http://127.0.0.1:4173/

Modes

• lessons: focused Graphite word, sentence, and punctuation drills.
• passages: public-domain book passage practice.
• code: JavaScript, Go, and Rust snippets with literal coding symbols.
• zmk: your current ZMK layers, thumbs, and home-row holds.
• zen: free typing with Graphite output.

Notes

This does not remap your keyboard. It is a learning surface that translates your current physical keypresses into Graphite output inside the app.
