What
Claude Code's entry file now holds only
@AGENTS.md, so every agent reads the same rules from AGENTS.md.How
The entry file is created or reduced to the single import line. Any rule it held moves into AGENTS.md word for word.
Evidence
Before: the entry file was missing, or it carried its own text.
After: it is one line,
@AGENTS.md, and the diff moves no rule out of AGENTS.md.Merge Danger
Two-way door. Documentation only, no code or build input changes.
Breaking changes
None.
