An idiomatic Golang port of the Python TextFSM library has been implemented in the go/ subdirectory. This includes full translations of the core engine (textfsm), tabular data handling (texttable), CLI template index mapping (clitable), and terminal formatting utilities (terminal). All unit tests have been built as table-driven tests without t.Run() usage, adhering strictly to Go testing best practices and NetSec guidelines. A CLI tool has also been implemented under go/cmd/textfsm, and README.md has been updated with proposed usage instructions and examples. I think the discussion in chat was: "Err we are not quite ready to manage a translation to , if so we have a golang version we might propose instead which has some usage time on it and testing and..." which led to: "close this PR if we need it we can ask robot to re-do it's work" cool! |
