What

  • Switch fastfetch in dot_config/mise/config.toml from fastfetch = "latest" (aqua: backend) to "github:fastfetch-cli/fastfetch" = "latest".
  • Update TOOLS["fastfetch"] in dot/src/fmind_dot/config.py to ToolConfig(package="github:fastfetch-cli/fastfetch") so dot completions resolves fastfetch through the github: backend.
  • Regenerate dot_config/mise/mise.lock via mise run lock for github:fastfetch-cli/fastfetch@2.70.0 on linux-x64 and macos-arm64.

Why

  • Upstream fastfetch 2.70.0 dropped fastfetch-macos-aarch64.tar.gz in favor of fastfetch-macos-universal.tar.gz.
  • aquaproj/aqua-registry still templates files[].src as {{.AssetWithoutExt}}/usr/bin/fastfetch from fastfetch-{{.OS}}-{{.Arch}}.{{.Format}} (fastfetch-macos-aarch64/usr/bin/fastfetch), which does not exist when the universal archive unpacks to fastfetch-macos-universal/usr/bin/fastfetch. That caused mise to return empty bin-paths for fastfetch on macos-arm64 and mise run completions (mise run full) to fail with failed to resolve mise completion executable for fastfetch.
  • Using "github:fastfetch-cli/fastfetch" lets mise's github backend auto-detect fastfetch-macos-universal/usr/bin on macos-arm64 and fastfetch-linux-amd64/usr/bin on linux-x64.

Validation

  • mise run lock: regenerated dot_config/mise/mise.lock and passed lockfile validation.
  • mise run full: passed end-to-end (tools, install, apply, completions for all 57 tools including fastfetch).
  • mise run check, mise run test, mise run doctor, and mise run check:completions: all passed.
