Completed [bot]: one dedupe rejection test uses a mismatched target version and cannot detect same-version false positives.

minor · test [bot] This fixture computes next=1.2.4, but the failed-publish titles name 27.10.1, so it passes even if releaseDue incorrectly treats same-version failed-publish titles as twins. Set tagged and stamped to 27.10.0 so the rejection assertion exercises the titles' version.

Re-checked at dc79a6f07c53: still open at scripts/lib/release-due-rule.test.ts:241. [bot] The fixture still overrides only openIssueTitles, leaving tagged and stamped at 1.2.3 and computing next=1.2.4. The failed-publish titles name 27.10.1, so the assertion still does not exercise same-version rejection.

Updated this branch from its base; waiting for CI on the new head. Nothing is needed from you right now.

completed · [bot] Adds strict release-ask title matching, a pure version-aware dedupe helper, and regression tests while preserving the wake timing assertions. No new actionable defects found in the supplied diff.
No findings from: concern-tests.
The 4 commit(s) since the last review only merged the base branch and left this pull request's own change as it was: this pass re-read that change against the base. Code the base brought in was not reviewed here.

Acceptance
ASK_SUBJECTblock and every assertion is green — a true twin likeRelease 27.10.1matches, and a release-commit subject likerelease: 27.10.1does notChanges
scripts/lib/release-subject.ts(edit) — AddASK_SUBJECTregex matching the GitHub issue title the release-due brief prescribes (^Release \d+\.\d+\.\d+(?=\s|$)), so a dedupe can be written that catches a true twin. Update the file header to name both matchers and who reads each.scripts/lib/release-subject.test.ts(edit) — Add test block assertingASK_SUBJECTcovers the brief'sRelease X.Y.Ztwin shapes, that a failed-publish subject the dedupe would mistake for one is excluded, and that the two matchers don't overlap (a release-commit subject failsASK_SUBJECT, an ask-title subject failsRELEASE_SUBJECT).scripts/lib/release-due-rule.ts(edit) — [completeness] Add the release-due dedupe the brief mandates ("Never file a second ask while one titledRelease …is open"). A pure helper takes (openIssueTitles, targetVersion) and returns{ open, twin? }, using ASK_SUBJECT on every title.releaseDueconsults it whendue === trueand surfaces the twin indata.detailso the bot can decide. Today no caller consumes ASK_SUBJECT.scripts/lib/release-due-rule.test.ts(edit) — [test] Pin the new dedupe with a fixture list of open-issue titles: a true twin likeRelease 27.10.1reportsopen: true, the failed-publish titles fromrelease-subject.test.ts:50-59reportopen: false, and a mismatched version reportsopen: false. This is acceptance criterion chore(deps): bump lefthook from 1.13.6 to 2.1.10 #3 ("a dedupe catches a true twin and ignores the failed-publish title") — it has no test today.packages/jobs/src/queue-wake.job.test.ts(edit) — [test] Wake-bound assertions at lines 286-288 and 359-360 now bound toBUDGET_MS(2000ms), up fromSOON_MS(150ms). WithidleWorker(400), poll-only picks the row up well within 2000ms, so the assertion passes on a never-fired wake and no longer proves what its name claims. Tighten the assertion back totoBeLessThan(SOON_MS)(keepBUDGET_MSinsideuntil(...)so a slow runner doesn't time out before the wake lands), or correct the block comment at 34-41 and the test name honestly.Verification
