A new look for the dashboard, test first throughout (each test commit was pushed alone and seen red in CI before its implementation).

  • Empty chat: the project mark set in re-rolling letters and digits (glyphfield.js); a click on the ground sends a water ripple through it. Press only, no drag. Reduced motion keeps it still and lights the pressed spot.
  • Layout: greeting in the middle, composer at the bottom; the composer is one bar (attach, message, send).
  • Model and account menus on the composer's card: icon-led tight rows, white checks.
  • Sidebar: flat ground, Search as a field, New chat marked while the empty chat is open, filter on hover, account and Settings on one row, a re-rolling glyph for a chat that is answering.
  • Geist and Geist Mono everywhere (served by the proxy, CSP font-src 'self', OFL license shipped); the greeting keeps its serif and settings headlines keep DIN.
  • Settings: every page opens on its icon in glyphs, Updates on the download arrow, Add account on the mark. The Status video and NASA photos are removed; the access-key gate keeps its photo.
  • Container image ships the fonts and their license instead of the video.

CI: 295/295.

The empty chat shows the project mark set in random letters and digits that keep
re-rolling. A click on the ground sends a water ripple through it: glyphs on the crest
are pushed out, lit in the signal blue and re-rolled. Only the press counts; holding
or dragging does nothing. Reduced motion keeps the field still and only lights the
pressed spot.

The composer stays at the bottom and the greeting sits in the middle, so the first
message only fades the greeting instead of moving the composer. The Earth photo it
replaces is removed.
The composer is one bar like Claude Code's: attach on the left, the message in the
middle, send on the right, buttons staying on the last line as the message grows.
The sidebar gets a flat ground, Search as a field at the top, New chat marked as the
current place while the empty chat is open, the chat filter on hover, account and
Settings on one row, and a re-rolling glyph from the empty-chat field for a chat
that is still answering.
Both fonts ship with the dashboard (Vercel, SIL OFL 1.1) and the proxy serves
.woff2 like its other media; the CSP allows fonts from this proxy only. The empty-chat
greeting keeps its serif and the big settings headlines keep DIN.
Tight rows led by an icon (a new bolt for Instant, DeepThink, web search, account),
the description on one quiet line, a white check and edge-to-edge hairlines on the
dark hairline card the composer uses. The account menu shares the card. The checks
were grey because the generic menu icon rule outranked them; they are white now.
Every settings page opens on its own icon set in the glyph field (status pulse,
accounts, usage bars, requests, agent prompt, the download arrow on Updates), right
of its caps DIN headline and calm under it; a click sends the same ripple as the
empty chat. Add account shows the project mark in glyphs above its three steps. The
Status video and the NASA photos they replace are removed; the access-key gate keeps
its photo. The settings window takes the sidebar's grammar: tight rows, the search
as a field, hairline cards.
