Selectable VLM and segmenter assist: the VLM and the segmenter are chosen per run, never hard-coded, at every granularity (cluster, sub-cluster, selected crops, a single crop or box, a filter). Plan:

Targeted tests per wave (7,013 passed across the affected backend directories; vitest 4,860; stubbed e2e for the touched pages). Full offline suite and stubbed e2e run once here by CI. Live check on the dev stack follows in the PR thread.
