Okay this helped me learning something new today hehe (due to a tricky problem that arrived from Tom (Boissonet)'s group!)
In short: I hacked up a weighted average over tile overlap strategy, which removes strange stitching artifacts which cannot be recovered due to the obvious tile-wise cropping of decoder outputs! (good idea to try out for other projects where I've also faced this ;))
I'm opening this PR to check for CIs for me hehe. Gonna merge this once the tests pass!
