Goal

Use the dashboard Workers plans page as a second source for the free-tier catalog, without overstating what it proves.

Scope / non-goals

Documentation only, in docs/security/FREE_TIER.md. Every Free figure already in the catalog matches the page. Added the details it contributes: KV limits cover writes, deletes, and lists; D1 allows up to 10 databases; Durable Objects SQL limits; Cron Triggers capped at 5; Containers, Pipelines, and Email Sending unavailable on Free; Workers Analytics Engine priced at $0.25 per million on Paid, which confirms billing exists for it and keeps it excluded.

Deliberately not claimed: that the account is on the Free plan. The text capture shows the Free, Paid, and Enterprise comparison but no current-plan marker, so the document still records the active plan as unverified.

Public contract

None.

Security impact

  • No new secret or credential handling
  • No new outbound network access
  • No new persistence or user data
  • No new runtime dependency
  • Threat model updated if attack surface changed -- unchanged

Verification

  • Tests added or updated when behavior changed -- no behavior change
  • npm run verify
  • git diff --check
  • Public docs and OpenAPI updated if behavior changed
  • Change is intentionally scoped and contains no unrelated cleanup

The maintainer captured the dashboard Workers plans page on 2026-09-19. Every
Free figure in the catalog matches it. Fold in the details it adds: KV limits
apply to writes, deletes, and lists; D1 allows up to 10 databases; Durable
Objects SQL limits; Cron Triggers are capped at 5 per account; Containers,
Pipelines, and Email Sending are not available on Free.

Workers Analytics Engine shows Paid pricing of $0.25 per million data
points, which confirms billing exists and keeps it excluded.

The capture lists the plans but carries no current-plan marker, so the
document still records the active plan as unverified instead of claiming Free.
