I was trying to compile #275 locally, and running
make fmtandmake -Bpicked up the Homebrew versions ofswiftformat,swiftlint,protocandprotoc-gen-grpc-swiftrather than the ones we pin, so I ended up with a big formatting diff, and gRPC v2 generated code that doesn't compile against our pinned v1 runtime.This PR bumps nixpkgs (last updated March 2025) and commits the resulting
make fmtchanges.swiftformatgoes from 0.55.5 to 0.64.3,swiftlintfrom 0.58.2 to 0.65.1, andprotocfrom 28 to 36, asprotobuf_28has been removed from nixpkgs. Regenerating the protos produces no diff.The protoc plugins from
grpc-swift-flakeare built with nixpkgs' Swift toolchain, which newer nixpkgs no longer supports on macOS, so for now I've pinned that input to the old nixpkgs revision. In a follow-up PR I'll bump the SwiftProtobuf and GRPC runtimes alongside their generators, and drop that flake entirely.The newer
zizmoralso wanted a Dependabot cooldown, and the new$/self-repositoryuses:syntax.actionlintdoesn't support$/yet (rhysd/actionlint#711), so I've just disabled that audit.This is the bottom of a PR stack, with #277 (Xcode 27 build fixes) and then #275 on top.
