Objective

Increase test stability on Windows and across multi-target frameworks by removing intermittent failures caused by Dapr/RabbitMQ service readiness timing and line-ending differences in code-fix tests.

Main Changes

1) Dapr Integration Test Stabilization (Actors)

  • Improved test bootstrap strategy: replaced fixed waits with actual readiness checks.
  • Correct handling of Dapr health responses, including successful status codes other than 200.
  • Strengthened RabbitMQ health checks in docker-compose to prevent false starts.

2) Dapr Integration Test Stabilization (Messaging)

  • Introduced active readiness checks in the fixture, with end-to-end publisher/subscriber validation before running tests.
  • Updated RabbitMQ health checks in this compose as well, to better reflect real broker availability conditions.

3) Analyzer Test Robustness Fix (Line Endings)

  • Standardized line-ending handling in the code-fix test harness to avoid CRLF/LF mismatches on net10 and Windows hosts.
  • Added editorconfig configuration in the test context to force consistent output.
  • Normalized the test solution during the verification pipeline.

4) CAEPACTR702 Code Fix Update

  • Refined the code fix to better preserve trivia/formatting and reduce non-functional text diffs.
  • Improved resilience in using generation and cross-platform behavior.

Outcome

  • Elimination of sporadic timeouts/failures caused by services that are not actually ready.
  • Elimination of false negatives in analyzer tests caused by newline differences.
