Summary
Document a diagnostic comparison of the RM3 PTO-extension float and spar free decays using the pinned BEMIO HDF5 and completed four-step MATLAB source artifact.
At common 0.025 s times, linear two-step extrapolation reduces the source/Python heave difference to 0.256 mm for the float and 0.0065 mm for the spar. Startup speed differences remain, so this does not change either published-case status or the physical solver.
Verification
git diff --checkpassed.
