fix(reports): retain access to historical intervals after leaving projects - #444
Regular users must retain access to their own historical time intervals after losing membership in the associated project. The existing report query starts from Project, whose global ProjectAccessScope suppresses intervals from former projects.
Changes
Build standard interval reports without the Project global access scope, but constrain results to IDs visible through the existing scoped TimeInterval model. This preserves access to a user's own intervals and the normal role-based access to others' intervals without exposing unrelated project data.
Do not implicitly restrict dashboard/project reports to currently accessible project IDs when the request has no projects filter. Preserve explicit project filtering, including an empty selection.
Add opt-in handling for “all available projects selected” in the shared project selector, so Dashboard Team, Project Report and Screenshots omit the project filter in that case. Partial selections remain explicit.
Add feature regression tests covering historical intervals across standard reports, explicit project filters, screenshot access, and role-based visibility after membership removal.
Security considerations
Project listings and project authorization remain unchanged.
Interval visibility continues to be enforced by TimeIntervalAccessScope; historical access does not grant access to other users' intervals in former projects.
An explicitly empty project selection still returns no results.
Validation
Compared changes against the current main.
Automated test execution has not been performed: the working environment cannot retrieve the repository dependencies, and the GitHub CI results should be checked before marking ready for review.
Follow-up
The universal report builder has its own project/task-based object selection and is not changed by this PR. If historical interval visibility is required there independently of active project membership, that flow needs separate evaluation.
Summary by CodeRabbit
New Features
Project selections now preserve whether you chose all projects or a custom selection. When all projects are selected, reports and screenshots can load without a project filter.
Reports can include your own historical time intervals after you’re removed from a project. Project managers can view team intervals while assigned to the project.
Bug Fixes
Empty project selections remain empty instead of being treated as all projects.
Report and screenshot results now stay aligned with the latest filter selection.

Walkthrough
Report queries now allow users to retrieve their own historical intervals after project membership changes. Project filters preserve a null value for unrestricted queries. Frontend project selection and report loading preserve that distinction.

Report access and filtering app/Helpers/ReportHelper.php, app/Http/Controllers/Api/Reports/*, app/Reports/*, tests/Feature/TimeIntervals/*
Report queries remove the project access scope from the project join and restrict intervals through the normally scoped interval query. Controllers and exports preserve null project filters. Feature tests cover historical interval access, report filters, interval ownership, and manager access.
Project selection state resources/frontend/core/components/ProjectSelect.vue, resources/frontend/core/components/MultiSelect.vue, tests/js/projectSelect.test.cjs, package.json
ProjectSelect persists whether selection mode is all or custom and can emit null when configured and all projects are selected. MultiSelect checks option IDs when determining whether all options are selected. Tests cover saved selections, removed projects, and cleared selections. The pnpm declaration and integrity hash are updated.
Report and screenshot loading resources/frontend/core/modules/Dashboard/views/Dashboard/Team.vue, resources/frontend/core/modules/ProjectReport/views/ProjectReport.vue, resources/frontend/core/modules/Screenshots/views/Screenshots.vue
These views preserve null project selections. Project report and screenshot loading wait for project initialization, and only the latest request updates their results.
Historical intervals remain available after leaving the last project, and saved custom selections remain restricted. The remaining no-project selection-control limitation can be addressed separately.

The title clearly and concisely describes the primary change: preserving access to historical intervals after users leave projects.
Full details: Linked Issues check
Explanation
Issue #329 requires historical access in Dashboard, Screenshots, and all reports. The PR adds coverage for the standard report, Dashboard, Screenshots, filters, and role visibility. The universal report path remains unchanged: UniversalReportController calls UniversalReportExport, which delegates to the project, user, and task services. The PR description explicitly leaves this path for later evaluation. No evidence establishes that the universal report path already returns an owner's historical intervals after membership removal.
Resolution
Apply the historical-interval access rules to the universal report path and add regression coverage. Alternatively, provide reviewable evidence that its project, user, and task services already preserve owner access after membership removal while preserving role-based visibility.

Explanation
The PR changes package.json only to update the pnpm version and integrity hash. Issue #329 concerns historical interval visibility, report filtering, selector behavior, authorization, and regression tests. The supplied changes do not show a connection between this package-manager update and those objectives.
Resolution
Revert the packageManager change, or document and demonstrate its required connection to the #329 implementation or its automated tests.

Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Remove the committed patch file from the repository.
329-review-fixes.patch is a review-fix artifact in the repository root. It repeats changes that already exist in the source files, so it has no runtime purpose. It also does not match the final files. For example, it omits the mapGetters('user', ['user', ...]) change in ProjectReport.vue. A later git apply of this file could fail or reintroduce stale hunks. Delete the file. The real changes are already in ProjectSelect.vue, ProjectReport.vue, Screenshots.vue, and tests/js/projectSelect.test.cjs.

Keep a persisted custom selection restricted after project removal.
If a user selects project [1] from [1, 2] and later loses access to project 2, onLoad retains [1] with mode custom. emitSelection() treats [1] as all currently loaded projects and emits null. Dashboard Team, Project Report, and Screenshots then receive an unrestricted project filter instead of the saved subset. Check the persisted mode before emitting null, and add a regression test for this nonempty remaining-project case. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
