Add direct and background project exports with job polling, download verification, and clear errors. Update load_all pagination to use page/per_page and merge sideloaded records. Document the export API and add tests.
Share direct and background export logic between projects and sessions. Clarify missing-record and permission errors, and document read access requirements and the export format 2.1 metadata.
Fix pagination and relation filters, expand model routing for the specimen release, and add anatomical region helpers with deprecated aliases. Support anonymous access and environment-based configuration, add CLI page/all options, and stop printing login tokens. Update documentation and regression coverage.
Align client and CLI with current BrainSTEM API
The server publishes a public, AI-agent-oriented description of its API and data model at /reference/. This adds BrainstemClient.agent_reference(page) to fetch a page as text (defaulting to index.md) and raises a ValueError on 404 for unknown pages or older servers. A new `brainstem reference [page]` CLI command prints a page using an anonymous client, so it never starts a login. Includes README docs and tests for the client method and CLI.
Add agent reference client method and CLI command
Report device-flow HTTP responses containing API errors as AuthenticationError. Bump the version to 2.1.0, add a changelog and tutorial examples for anonymous access, exports, and agent references, and ignore local scratch directories.
Use filter{tags.name} for project, subject, session, collection, and cohort loaders, matching server support and the tag names returned by the API. Update docstrings and the changelog.
