Dependabot has been unable to apply security updates because the checked-in dependency lock still identifies Python 3.9 as the compile interpreter, even though the project now supports Python 3.10 and later. Regenerating the lock under Python 3.10 updates that provenance and refreshes the pinned dependency set.
The focused Python 3.10 suite passed (38 passed). The full tox matrix was attempted, but the Git-based wheel tests could not clone their upstream repositories because this environment lacks Git's HTTPS remote helper.
