Three additions to targets.yml and the opt-in file:

  • Web URLs as targets and excludes: - repo: https://gitlab.acme.internal/platform/api. The provider is found by host, port and path among providers[].url; ambiguous or unknown hosts fail check.
  • opt_in: assumed in defaults or an entry: the hub subscribes repositories that have no opt-in file. The first pull request is the proposal; closing it is remembered as a decline. enabled: false in the opt-in file opts a repository out.
  • Glob patterns in exclude (corp:platform/legacy/**) and a match filter on org/group entries.

Docs: reference/targets, reference/opt-in, getting-started, concepts, agents page, FAQ.

- a repo, org, group or exclude entry may be a web URL; its provider is
found by host, port and path among the providers' URLs
- opt_in: assumed (in defaults or an entry) subscribes repositories
without an opt-in file; the first pull request is the proposal, a close
is remembered as a decline; enabled: false in the opt-in file opts a
repository out, and its open pull request is closed with a comment that
  says who withdrew
- exclude takes glob patterns (* within a segment, ** across segments,
? one character); org and group entries take match, a list of globs
  over the repository path
- migrate notes how to subscribe repositories that have no opt-in file
