Goal

Change

  • Accept linear, CPU-mappable DMA-BUF input.
  • Preserve camera allocations and accumulated metadata through OPK elements.
  • Draw OSD in place; add explicit copy-input fallback.
  • Match browser overlays to WebRTC frames by RTP timestamp.
  • Add Raspberry Pi and USB camera presets.
  • Replace fixed startup delays in CLI tests.

Testing

  • Local: 63/63 native test targets and 39/39 WebUI tests passed.
  • Pi camera: buffer lifetime, direct DMA drawing, copy fallback, and KMS import checked.
  • Browser: frame matching and delayed metadata checked.
  • Pi suite: 62/63 passed; cached Python 3.14 conflicts with a test requiring 3.13.
  • Docs generation blocked by missing Doxygen.

fix a startup timing race encountered during validation.

Two tests sent signals after fixed delays of 250 ms and 500 ms. Startup sometimes took about 550 ms, so the signal could arrive before OPK installed its signal handlers.
