wighawag/rocketh (@rocketh/deploy)

v0.20.1

Compare Source

Patch Changes
  • e06dd5d: Every published package now declares a funding field, so npm fund resolves to the same destinations as .github/FUNDING.yml instead of returning nothing. @rocketh/diamond and @rocketh/proxy additionally ship a THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md beside their vendored Solidity, recording the upstream project, the version stamps that are recoverable from the sources, the copyright line and the MIT permission notice: an SPDX identifier alone does not satisfy MIT's requirement that the notice travel with the code. No Solidity source or built artifact changed.
  • Updated dependencies [e06dd5d]

v0.20.0

Compare Source

Minor Changes
  • 66fc44f: Support chains that reject EIP-1559 transactions. A chain declared with transactionType: 'legacy' (default 'eip1559') gets legacy (type 0) transactions from deploy, execute and tx, deterministic-deployment bootstrapping included, and any call can pass gasPrice or type: 'legacy' to send a legacy transaction. gasPrice combined with maxFeePerGas / maxPriorityFeePerGas is refused with a message naming both. Chains left at the default send exactly what they sent before.
Patch Changes

v0.19.22

Compare Source

Patch Changes
  • 07bebb9: deploy no longer silently drops a transaction option its type accepts. nonce is now put on the deployment transaction (including nonce: 0, the first transaction of a fresh account), matching what execute already did. Options a deployment cannot carry are refused at the call with a message saying what to do instead: the EIP-4844 blob fields (blobs, blobVersionedHashes, kzg, sidecars, maxFeePerBlobGas) and the EIP-7702 authorizationList, since neither transaction type can create a contract; dataSuffix, since on a deployment it would become part of the init code and the recorded constructor arguments; and any type other than 'eip1559', since a deployment is sent as an EIP-1559 transaction. The refusal happens before any reuse check, so it does not depend on whether the contract already exists.
  • Updated dependencies [f1301be]

v3.20.0

Compare Source

Minor Changes
  • #8710 065c858 Thanks @popescuoctavian! - Added experimental EIP-2780 support to the Amsterdam hardfork: intrinsic transaction gas is priced per resource instead of a flat 21,000.

  • #8710 065c858 Thanks @popescuoctavian! - Added experimental EIP-8246 support to the Amsterdam hardfork: a contract that self-destructs in the transaction that created it keeps its balance instead of burning it.

  • #8710 065c858 Thanks @popescuoctavian! - Added the lastFrameGas and snapshotGasLastFrame cheatcodes, which also record CREATE and CREATE2 frames, and deprecated lastCallGas and snapshotGasLastCall in their favour.

Patch Changes
  • #8697 8c4d435 Thanks @kediyalua! - Fixed the CORS headers of hardhat node's JSON-RPC server to list the methods it actually serves.

  • #8690 0058149 Thanks @schaable! - Sped up compilation by reading and writing solc's output with JSON.parse and JSON.stringify when memory allows (#8565).

  • #8705 5f5991b Thanks @izzetemredemir! - Fixed config values containing "$$", "$&", "$`" or "$'" being altered when resolved, including inline values. An HD account passphrase with one of these will now derive different accounts than before.

  • #8710 065c858 Thanks @popescuoctavian! - Upgraded EDR to v0.23.0.

  • #8710 065c858 Thanks @popescuoctavian! - Fixed Solidity stack traces not recognising console.log calls made through the Hardhat console address.

  • #8710 065c858 Thanks @popescuoctavian! - Fixed the transaction Value in the hardhat node logs dropping leading zeros of the fractional part (0.01 ETH was logged as 0.1 ETH) and whole amounts ending with a trailing dot.

  • #8710 065c858 Thanks @popescuoctavian! - Fixed JSON-RPC call traces to include calls to precompiles.

  • #8710 065c858 Thanks @popescuoctavian! - Fixed Solidity stack traces after a precompile call, so a failing precompile call is reported as a precompile error and later calls in the same function point at the right line.

  • #8710 065c858 Thanks @popescuoctavian! - Fixed the default gas limit of Solidity test transactions being lowered to the EIP-7825 cap from the Amsterdam hardfork, where the cap bounds execution gas only.

  • #8669 257692d Thanks @schaable! - Fixed Hardhat exiting without an error when a prompt, like the keystore password prompt, has no input to read.

  • #8572 a0a52b9 Thanks @sanskar717! - Fixed a race condition in the solc downloader that would show as spawn ... EACCES.

  • #8642 7f75efb Thanks @spideydotjs! - Improved the error for bare-filename imports of local files (e.g. import "Token.sol"), which now suggests the equivalent relative import instead of reporting invalid npm import syntax.

  • Updated dependencies:

v3.19.0

Compare Source

Minor Changes
  • #8680 0e51fa2 Thanks @anaPerezGhiglia! - Added experimental EIP-7976 support to the Amsterdam hardfork: the calldata floor cost rises to 64 gas per byte.

  • #8680 b52d2eb Thanks @anaPerezGhiglia! - Added experimental EIP-7981 support to the Amsterdam hardfork: access list data costs an extra 64 gas per byte.

  • #8680 bb62bf6 Thanks @anaPerezGhiglia! - Added experimental EIP-7997 support to the Amsterdam hardfork: the deterministic CREATE2 factory is now part of the genesis state.

  • #8680 0e51fa2 Thanks @anaPerezGhiglia! - Added experimental EIP-8024 support to the Amsterdam hardfork: the DUPN, SWAPN and EXCHANGE opcodes reach stack items beyond DUP16 and SWAP16.

  • #8680 bb62bf6 Thanks @anaPerezGhiglia! - Added experimental EIP-8037 support to the Amsterdam hardfork: execution gas and state gas are metered separately, and a block's gasUsed reports the larger.

Patch Changes

v3.18.1

Compare Source

Patch Changes

v3.18.0

Compare Source

Minor Changes
  • #8574 e28e4f5 Thanks @anaPerezGhiglia! - Removed the pre-Byzantium hardforks (chainstart, homestead, dao, tangerineWhistle, spuriousDragon) from the accepted hardfork and hardforkHistory values, as EDR cannot execute them.

  • #8595 562cc0b Thanks @ChristopherDedominici! - Made ethers derive secp256k1 public keys with EDR's native implementation instead of its pure-JS one, speeding up new Wallet(secretKey), Wallet.createRandom(), HD wallet derivation and computeAddress.

  • #8590 e2ebf54 Thanks @schaable! - Added Solidity test profiles, allowing test settings to vary across environments such as local development and CI.

Patch Changes

v3.17.0

Compare Source

Minor Changes
  • #8501 5faee42 Thanks @ChristopherDedominici! - Add gasEstimationMode config option to EDR networks, featuring a "noInternalOutOfGas" mode to prevent misleading eth_estimateGas results when internal calls run out of gas.

  • #8580 8583e24 Thanks @ChristopherDedominici! - Made ethers use EDR's native Keccak-256 instead of its pure-JS one.

  • #8210 024b422 Thanks @renovate! - Update the cryptography dependencies to their latest major versions: @noble/hashes and @noble/ciphers to 2, ethereum-cryptography to 3, and micro-eth-signer to 0.19.

v2.0.28

Patch Changes

v2.0.27

Compare Source

Patch Changes
  • 06d42b8: hardhat-deploy init now decides which template files to skip with a real gitignore matcher instead of a hand-rolled check.

The old test was fileName === pattern || fileName.endsWith(pattern.replace('*', '')), which compared BASENAMES and stripped only the FIRST *, with a second, differently-broken copy (pattern.replace('/', '')) deciding directories in copyFolder. Four consequences, each silent: *.log.* kept a stray * and matched nothing; build* was evaluated as a suffix, so it also skipped mybuild; ! negations survived parsing and applied as positive skips, inverted; and anchored paths such as src/generated could never match a basename.

Both copies are replaced by a documented subset of the gitignore spec (comments, ! with last-match-wins, trailing-/ directory rules, anchoring, *, ?, [...], **, escapes). copyFolder accumulates a relative path during the walk, which is what anchored patterns need, and copyFile no longer decides skipping at all.

Behaviour of the shipped templates/basic/.gitignore is unchanged, verified end to end by scaffolding a project from the built CLI and pinned by a test, so a scaffolded project looks exactly as before. What changes is that a future edit to that template's .gitignore now does what it says.

jestjs/jest (jest)

v30.5.2

Compare Source

Features
  • [@jest/transform] Strip TypeScript types with Node when no transformer claims a .ts, .mts or .cts file (#16421)
Fixes
  • [jest-core, jest-haste-map, jest-transform] Keep require('../package.json') external when bundling, so jest --version and the transform and haste-map cache keys report the released version instead of the previous one (#16422)
  • [jest-each] Escape a table row's keys before building the $variable interpolation RegExp, so a column name such as count(*) no longer fails the whole table with Invalid regular expression, and a . or | in a column name is matched literally (#16345)
  • [@jest/source-map] Resolve absolute Windows paths in a source map's sources and sourceRoot again, instead of appending them to the transformed file's directory (#16439)

v30.5.1

Compare Source

Fixes
  • [jest-config] Don't warn about global-only options in the config that supplies the global config - the root config a project resolves to, or the first entry of --projects when no root config is passed (#16411)
  • [jest-config, jest-types] Stop accepting reporters, coverageReporters, workerIdleMemoryLimit, cwd and runnerOptions in a project config - they were silently ignored, and now warn like the other global-only options (#16411)
  • [jest-config, jest-validate] Warn about maxWorkers and coverageThreshold in a project config instead of dropping them without a word (#16411)
  • [jest-resolve] Match moduleNameMapper patterns against the specifier as written again (reverting #16390) (#16417)
  • [jest-runtime] Resolve package imports specifiers like #dep under ESM again (#16413)
Chore & Maintenance
  • [jest-util] Name the testEnvironmentOptions.globalsCleanup option and link the docs from the JEST-01 deprecation warning, and document the option's modes (#16404)
